AUSA has its roots and evolved from the most successful armwrestling company in the United States. Since 1976 the Simons Family has held more than 800 events in the United States, Canada and Europe. Our events have been telecast on CBS Sports, CTV in Canada and ITV in Europe. We also held the NFL Players Armwrestling Championships featured at halftimes on CBS. We are inviting you to host one in a special series of amateur Grand Prix events that feature your fairgoers as the competitors. Your fair is the perfect venue for a colorful and competitive sport that affords anyone the opportunity to become an athlete. People from all walks of life - both men, women and young adults will compete. You have open-ended options for sponsorship and selecting the name of your Grand Prix event.

This colorful and exciting event is entirely self-contained. We will fly in the announcer/event coordinator and referee. Contestants will register the day of the event. Registration will begin at your selected time followed by Special Clinics. A feed in competition will be held during the day with the Grand Finale at a time of your choice. This event comes with a complete promotional package of pictures, news releases and joint solicitation of media with our office and you’re fair. We will also supply 14 colorful trophies for winners and runners-up.

All competitors that win a match at your Grand Prix event in their weight class will earn a national ranking and be posted on our Website. Every competitor will be eligible to participate in the Grand Finale at the Arizona State Fair in October - the winners will officially represent their area.  There will be competition in 7 divisions - 5 men’s and 2 women’s by special designated weight classes.

Men’s:
Featherweight (under 144)
Lightweight (145 -169)
Middleweight (170 - 193)
Light Heavyweight (194 - 219)
Heavyweight (220 & Above)

There is a Women’s Lightweight (144 & under) and an Open Women's division (Above 145).

Simons Entertainment Group sends both an announcer and referee to your event. Fourteen trophies are included with your fair name and date. A suggested format is for registration beginning at 11:00 AM on the day of the event. A SPECIAL CLINIC will be held at 12:30 – Competition will runs from approximately 1pm to 4pm. THE EVENT IS FREE TO ALL FAIRGOERS. Trophies will be awarded to winners and runners-up.
